Edriana is interested primarily in branding and art direction. Her approach to brand design is adventurous, curious, and experimental. Her greatest skill is her ability to absorb information quickly and apply what she learns. She is highly adaptive, perceptive, and open to uncertainty. Edriana is largely an "ideas" person, and enjoys testing the boundaries of her skill in design. At the root of all of her passions is a desire to create work that provokes people to challenge their preconceptions.
Here are some samples of my work:
Playtionery
Playtionery is a fictitious brand of desk-space stationery made to satisfy a "grown-up" sense of play. The brand's aim is to create opportunities for creativity and joy through the use of ordinary, everyday objects.
The Playbox provides users with unique interactions throughout the unboxing experience. Parts of each box can be flipped, slid, and pulled to uncover the products, revealing hidden puns contained within the packaging. The vibrant color palette and geometric forms pay homage to familiar notions of play items in our childhoods, and incites users to indulge in nostalgic behaviors of play as adults. Just as the Playtionery motto says: Play every day.
The American Manifesto
The American Manifesto unveils commonalities between ideas of political righteousness and opposition to authority in direct comparison to cultural movements and prolific voices embedded in US history. Using the Declaration of Independence as a base platform for institutional criticism, the book juxtaposes the passages of the document in a way that forces the reader to consider its alternative readings.
