Erin Pascoe is a graphic designer interested in making people’s thoughts come to life in a more tactile and visual way. With a strong background in prototyping physical collateral such as books, vinyl albums, boxes, etc., she enjoys being able to see her designs’ impact in a physical space. Erin’s work heavily features illustration with lots of color, and she is interested in producing tactile collateral. She also has an interest in UX/UI design and loves learning new methods of reaching people to help their imagination become reality. With a desire to continue learning from new people and new places, Erin loves to travel and has visited many cities including Seoul, Seattle, and Chicago. She is interested in all sorts of music, in multiple languages, and believes that music has the ability to transcend language. Combining all three passions is what allows Erin to truly be herself.
here are some samples of my work:
A.C.E ADVENTURES
IN WONDERLAND |
VINYL ALBUM RE-DESIGN
Inspired by Korean-Pop group A.C.E’s album Adventures in Wonderland, a new vinyl album design was re-imagined. This systems-based design project includes a 10” X 10” Gatefold vinyl/sleeve, a heart shaped vinyl with label, Instagram & Spotify content, + bonus group-member photo cards. In December 2019, I was able to meet the members of A.C.E in Miami & had the chance to share my outcome with them.
connection | card game
Connection is a card-based, cooperative trivia challenge where players answer design history-related questions about subway systems around the globe. Once question & answer cards are correctly paired, players flip the cards over to reveal a map of subway route connections. Research for this game can be broken down into four parts: designers, typefaces in-use, design problems and solutions within subway systems, and other miscellaneous information related to the topic.
LITE MULTIPLE | CD PACKAGING
Taking inspiration from LITE’s album Multiple, this CD packaging was brought to life. The jellyfish imagery mimics the rhythm and flow of the rock instrumentals from one song to the next. The pop of electric blue illustrates the punchy, unpredictable nature of sound in this album. The guitar pick is a piece of collector’s memorabilia that fans of this Japanese rock group can either use themselves or have on display.
